The guided tour around Andorra la Vella and Santa Coloma is a truly unique experience. Wander along the streets of the historic centre and the surrounding area and take in all the culture, history and nature on offer.

It’s time for the guided tour, and the tourists and curious locals can’t wait to set off to explore all the most special sites in the area: Espai Columba, Santa Coloma Church, the cobbled streets... But an intrepid archaeologist, Pierre, has other ideas: he wants the group to help him discover where some (allegedly lost) frescoes from the church have been stashed away. Three residents of the historic centre go out for an aperitif together, like they used to do in the ’70s. On their way, they encounter a group of tourists and decide to accompany them on a tour of the historic centre of Andorra la Vella. On the walk, they tell the visitors stories and anecdotes about their experiences in the area. With plenty of humour, of course.

Dr Anton Fiter i Rossell, the Bishop of Urgell’s representative and author of the famous Manual Digest (an eighteenth-century book on Andorran history and customs), is anxiously awaiting a visit from an old classmate from the University of Huesca.
He wants to show him around the country, but Dr Picatoste, his old friend, is no longer the pleasant young man he once shared a classroom with.

The Mercat de la Vall takes place on the first Saturday of every month from May to October (except in August, when it lasts two days) in Andorra la Vella’s historic centre.
You will find local produce, as well as handmade and Andorran products. The shops in the historic centre also get involved. On top of that, there is street entertainment in the afternoon, as well as a space where little ones can pretend to be stallholders for the day.

Bring the whole family to enjoy the Tamarro Trail: a pleasant walking route, including play areas where little ones can put their balance to the test, which ends with an encounter with the Tamarro.
Andy the Tamarro is in charge of looking after Andorra la Vella’s natural environment and he has a magic portal, hidden in the woods he protects.
Andy’s Forest is a short, easy walking trail for all the family that revolves around the Tamarros, creating a story about their way of life and their work in the forest.
It is an easy route that can be completed in an hour and a half.
This route comes with a short story, which will be provided at Andorra la Vella Tourist Office.

Route along the Rec del Solà path, which connects the urban centre to its natural environment.
This 5 km linear route is perfect for a pleasant walk and highlights the values involved in agriculture and animal husbandry, changes in local traditions and the economy, and how humans adapt to natural risks.
It is a terrific way of getting some exercise, going for a walk and taking in views of the city with the whole family.
On this route, you will stop at the Roc de Senders Viewpoint, the Bosc Negre Viewpoint, the Roc de Palomera Viewpoint and the Roc de Solobre Viewpoint. They all offer spectacular views of Andorra la Vella.

Both are part of the Spanish national team and have been champions of Spain in this discipline, where the rider performs a series of spins without their feet touching the ground.
